World Laparoscopy Hospital was established in 2001 by Dr R K Mishra. The director of this hospital Dr. R.K. Mishra is the author of many books of laparoscopic surgery. His one of the book published by McGraw-Hill is very popular all over world by the name of Textbook of Practical Laparoscopic Surgery.[4] This book is available in 350 book stores of the World including Amazon.com[5] and Wheelers.[6] Dr. R.K. Mishra is editor in chief of World Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery.[7] His another book in minimal access surgery is Mastering the Techniques of Laparoscopic Suturing and Knotting.[8] The mandate of World Laparoscopy Hospital is to excel in patient centered care, scholarly work and research, in conjunction with educational mission its focus is on bidirectional translational research, and by its pro-active contributions to knowledge of Minimal Access Surgery.
